Jet & Gunner adopted together
A unicorn home. Jett & Gunner get adopted and rehomed together. These are never easy homes to find but we did and we’re so grateful to their new family. The boys will now have an older sister and learn that it’s okay to snuggle on the bed. We look forward to following their adventures.

Maverick's home was worth the wait
"I knew Maverick was the boy I was looking for when I saw his picture the very first time. I was hiking the PCT and hoped he would be available when I finished in May. After flying to TX where my husband picked me up we drove to Dallas and met Maverick for the very first time and brought him home to TN.
He is the perfect hiking companion living his best life on Norris Lake and getting to experience mountain life. There are so many adventures ahead for this sweet ole boy! It’s has been 6 weeks and we just love him!".
We have loved following Mavericks adventures and the dedication Linda has put into training and giving this boy the best 2nd chance. The right home is worth the wait.

Hazel saved over & over again!
One lucky dog. Hazel, our extremely fearful vizsla-mix rescue recently adopted, got lost for a wild five-day adventure. It took a small army of dedicated people to bring her back—after the first attempt to dart her earlier in the week didn’t work out, the team regrouped and tried again. Hazel is so deeply afraid of people that every step was a challenge, but she’s back where she belongs. We can’t say thank you enough to the volunteers who kept the feeding stations filled and never stopped looking out for her. Two trackers, a drone, a gentle helper dog, and one volunteer who simply refused to give up. Because of them, Hazel gets to curl up on her soft bed tonight instead of braving the outdoors.
And a massive shoutout to Sight Hawk Drones—without their help, there’s no way we would have spotted Hazel. She did manage to escape from daycare a couple of days later (this dog is part cat, we swear—she must have nine lives), but she was found again and darted again. So, Hazel is officially on house arrest now, and her family is taking extra precautions to keep her safe and sound.

Winston saved from being euthanized
In 2024, the incredible fundraising from our community saved his life. We were able to save Winston from being euthanized. He's now seizure free, taking his medication and living the Vizsla dream with his family. They are forever grateful.
Backstory: We raised $5,500K in 24 hours to save Winston whose family had such a huge vet bill they just couldn't afford. We rallied together and had enough left to get specialist care and support for the family.
