EVERY DOG ADOPTED GETS A FI GPS TRACKING COLLAR

Adopting a dog through our Viz Whizz Dogs program comes with a pretty sweet perk: every pup goes home with a free Fi Dogs GPS tracking collar and a six-month subscription. There is a one-time activation fee of $20 when activating the Fi Device.

Here’s why that matters. Settling into a new home can be overwhelming for any dog, and sometimes the excitement of a new backyard or neighborhood leads to unexpected adventures. With the Fi GPS collar, you’ll always know where your new best friend is. It’s peace of mind for you, and a safer start for your dog. The collar is simple to use and fits dogs of all sizes. It tracks their location in real time, so if your new buddy slips out the door or dashes after a squirrel, you can find them fast. Plus, you’ll get to keep tabs on their activity and make sure they’re getting enough exercise (and, let’s be honest, you’ll probably end up bragging about how many steps your dog gets in a day).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS:

APPLICATION FORMS:

Completing a rescue dog application form isn’t just paperwork—it’s your first step towards giving a dog a second chance. We take this process seriously because every detail helps us make the right match for our dogs and adopters. That’s why we ask for everything upfront: full names, contact emails, and thorough references.

When even one piece is missing, we can’t move your application forward. It’s not about red tape—it’s about doing right by our dogs. We go the extra mile to make sure every adoption is a success, and we count on you to do the same by providing all the information we need right from the start.

OUR CONTRACT & ADOPTION FEES:

At Viz Whizz Dogs Rescue, our commitment to the well-being of our dogs doesn’t end when they leave our care—it’s a lifelong promise.

Every family that adopts from us enters into a Viz Whizz Dog Contract, designed to ensure that our dogs are always safe, healthy, and supported.

The contract guarantees lifetime support for every dog we place, and if circumstances change, we’ll always take our dogs back—no questions asked. Contracts and fees needs to be paid at time of pick up.

SURRENDERED DOGS:

At the time of surrender, all Viz Whizz dogs are up to date on key vaccinations. We also ensure they are heartworm negative, so you know you’re welcoming a healthy companion into your home.

This doesnt mean that they may not need an updated vaccine for your area. We ensure that every dog over the age of two is spayed or neutered, unless a veterinarian determines there’s a medical reason not to.

It’s all part of our promise to put our dogs’ welfare first, every step of the way.

Your transport costs do not waiver our fees. We are a small non-profit with very limited funding.
